Frequently asked questions

Mixing/Mastering

How do I send Files?
Once we confirm the project. We will send you a link where you can upload files for mixing or mastering.

What do you deliver?
On mixing and mastering our final product will be both a CD-quality WAV file and a high-quality MP3. We can also deliver higher-quality WAV files if requested. We only send back mixed and mastered files. We do not send copies of session files that we have worked on.

Do you require a deposit?
We require a %50 deposit on all of our mixing and mastering projects. Final payment is due in order to receive the final product.

What is your refund policy for mixing/mastering?
If you cancel a project before we start working on it, we will happily refund your payment. If we have started the project we do reserve the right to keep some if not all of the payment to cover our working hours on the project so far.

Mobile Recording

How does this work?
We come to you! If you have a house, garage, venue, rehearsal space, etc that would want to do a recording and are within our service range, then we head out your way and set up to record.
We can either keep our recording rack and computer in the vehicle and roll out a snake to your space and setup up that way, or we can set up in your space.

Do you charge for driving?
We will not charge for drive time as long as the recording location is within a 1-hour drive from our home base in West Palm Beach, FL.
If you are outside of that range we charge $50 per hour of time past that one-hour drive. We also keep our service range to the Nashville area and may reject service if you are outside our range.

Do you have an hourly minimum?
We book half days and full days only. Half days max out at 4 hours and full days max out at 8 hours. If we go above and beyond then we charge $50 per hour for each hour after.

Do you charge for setup?
We only start the clock when we start setting up to record. Any type of setup that goes with moving recording equipment in comes free with the booking. We start counting once we start setting up microphones.
